POC-960GC-PoE Overview
Four IP cameras, a PoE switch, a computer and their power supplies add up to a lot of hardware for a roadside cabinet or a vision cell. The POC-960GC-PoE is the build in the Neousys POC-960GC series that brings camera power into the computer: an edge AI box PC with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ on four GbE ports, an AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U with a 16 TOPS NPU and a low-profile NVIDIA GPU slot up to 70 W.
The Ryzen PRO 8640U runs six cores and twelve threads at 3.5 GHz, boosting to 4.9 GHz, within a 15 W to 30 W TDP, with 16 TOPS from the Ryzen AI NPU and 31 TOPS across the SoC. Neousys splits the work so the CPU handles sensor data processing and system control while the low-profile GPU, on a PCIe x16 slot wired as Gen4 x8, takes image processing and deep learning inference. One SO-DIMM socket holds up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600, ECC or non-ECC.
On the POC-960GC-PoE, the four GbE ports by Intel I350-AM4 deliver PoE+ from a 100 W total budget, so four IP cameras draw power and data over one cable each, while the 2.5GbE port by Intel I226-V with wake-on-LAN carries the uplink. Four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with screw-lock retention take USB3 cameras, one RS-232/422/485 port covers PLCs and controllers, 4-channel isolated DI and DO handle sensors and actuators, and an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 socket holds the NVMe SSD. Two full-size mini-PCIe sockets with a micro SIM take wireless modules. Where the cameras are self-powered, the POC-960GC drops PoE+ from the same build.
Power is a 12 V to 35 V DC terminal block with remote control or optional ignition power control. At 15 W TDP the edge AI box PC runs without a fan from -25 °C to 60 °C; at 30 W it reaches 45 °C, or 60 °C with the optional fan assembly. Vibration and shock are tested to MIL-STD-810H, with CE and FCC Class A EMC, and at 1.8 kg the POC-960GC-PoE wall-mounts as standard.

Official Neousys USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Neousys USA distributor, and the Neousys range includes several PoE+ camera computers beside the POC-960GC-PoE. The POC-551VTC is an AMD Ryzen V1605B vehicle mount computer with 4x PoE+ and isolated CAN bus, the Nuvo-9100VTC covers Intel 14th/13th/12th Gen Core in-vehicle PCs with PoE+, and the Nuvo-9154GC pairs four GMSL2 cameras with a 150 W NVIDIA RTX GPU.
Across our categories, the POC-960GC-PoE belongs with our PoE camera computers and industrial computers with GPU, and its NPU and GPU slot place it among our AI edge computers. Where the camera count and the footprint decide the build, and a PoE switch would otherwise share the cabinet, this is the POC-960GC configuration to shortlist.
