Nexcom NDiS B561-PoE Intel Core i3-12100TE to i9-12900TE Digital Signage Player with 2x 2.5GbE PoE

Signage that shows camera feeds, people counts or queue analytics usually has cameras nearby, and powering them from the player saves a separate PoE switch and its power supply. The NDiS B561-PoE is the Digital Signage Player in the Nexcom NDiS B561 series built for that layout, adding Power over Ethernet on both 2.5GbE ports. For outdoor sites, the NDiS B561 without PoE is rated from -20 °C to 60 °C.

The NDiS B561-PoE takes an LGA socket 12th Gen Intel Core processor up to 35 W, from the 4-core Core i3-12100TE to the 16-core Core i9-12900TE, on the Intel Q670E chipset with Intel UHD Graphics 730. Two DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB, and two M.2 2280 Key M sockets with PCIe x4 hold NVMe storage, one also supporting SATA, for video, recordings and analytics models.

Networking is two 2.5GbE ports with PoE plus one GbE port, so cameras and the content network can sit on separate links. One HDMI 2.1 and two HDMI 2.0 ports drive three independent 4K screens or one 8K display, and eight USB 3.2 ports and four DB9 COM ports handle peripherals. An M.2 Key B socket with SIM slot takes a 3G, 4G or 5G module, and an M.2 Key E socket takes Wi-Fi. The DC input accepts 12 V to 24 V, and the NDiS B561-PoE ships with a 180 W adapter to cover the PoE budget.

This Digital Signage Player is rated from 0 °C to 40 °C, so it belongs indoors: control rooms, retail floors, stadium concourses and transport halls. The fanless 238 x 192 x 67.29 mm case keeps dust and fan noise out of the picture. The NDiS B561-PoE runs Windows 10 or Linux and carries CE and FCC Class A approval.
