IBOX-604-G2-ON8 Overview
Many onboard vision jobs, such as single-camera detection, inspection capture or line following on a ground robot, sit well within an Orin Nano budget, and a lighter module can keep power draw down on battery-fed equipment. The IBOX-604-G2-ON8 is the Orin Nano 8GB model in the Sintrones IBOX-604-G2 series, a drone computer in a 120 x 115 x 32 mm aluminum enclosure with a net weight under 339 g.
The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module pairs 1024 CUDA cores with a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and 8 GB of LPDDR5, and runs NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or later with Jetson Linux and the NVIDIA development tools. Because the enclosure, I/O and power input match the Orin NX models, software can move to the IBOX-604-G2-ONX8 if a model needs more compute, without changing mounts or wiring.
Two GMSL-2 inputs on FAKRA connectors bring camera video straight into the IBOX-604-G2-ON8. A 2.5GbE port on an Intel I226-IT controller handles data to the drone system, and a GbE port from the module suits LiDAR or a high-resolution sensor. CAN FD, an RS-232/422/485 port and a 3.3 V UART connect flight controllers, two USB 3.2 ports take a GNSS receiver or other peripherals, and an HDMI output with audio helps during bench setup. Storage is an M.2 2242 NVMe SSD, with M.2 Key B and dual SIM for WWAN and M.2 Key E for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Power arrives at 10 to 60 V DC through a 3-pin terminal block with over-current, over-voltage, surge and reverse-polarity protection plus ignition detection, so the IBOX-604-G2-ON8 can run from 3S to 14S lithium packs. The drone computer operates from -25 °C to 55 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow, is tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration, and carries a built-in 3-axis accelerometer. CE, FCC Class A, UKCA and IEC 62368-1 compliance completes the Sintrones specification.

Official Sintrones USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Sintrones USA distributor, and the Sintrones Jetson range covers several build types around the same Orin modules. The IMB-600 developer kits put Orin NX on a Mini-ITX board for bench work, the IBOX-600 series offers compact embedded PCs on Orin NX and Orin Nano, and the IBOX-600-IP66 series seals the same modules in IP66 waterproof edge AI computers for wet and outdoor sites.
Within our catalog, the IBOX-604-G2-ON8 sits with our AI inference computers and our NVIDIA Jetson computers, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration. Its Orin Nano 8GB module also places it in our Jetson Orin Nano computers range, alongside other builds on the same module.
