Sintrones SBOX-2624P-IP66 AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 IP66 Waterproof Embedded PC with 2x M12 PoE

A camera on a platform canopy or a quayside post needs its computer close by, and close by is usually exposed to rain, spray and dust. The Sintrones SBOX-2624P-IP66 is a waterproof embedded PC sealed to IP66, small enough at 150 x 150 x 66 mm to mount beside the cameras it powers rather than in a cabinet down the line.

Compute is an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 with two cores and four threads and AMD Radeon Graphics, with up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 on one SO-DIMM, ECC support with ECC memory and TPM 2.0. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe or SATA SSD, and the SBOX-2624P-IP66 supports Windows 10 and 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 LTS.

Two GbE ports from a Marvell Ethernet switch deliver PoE at up to 15 W per port (PSE Class 3) from a 30 W budget on M12 X-coded connectors, sharing a 1GbE link. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, three digital inputs and four outputs use sealed M8 A-coded connectors. Two HDMI 2.0b outputs at up to 4K and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports are provided for service and set-up, but these are not IP66-rated, so they suit set-up and service rather than permanent field connections. An M.2 Key B slot takes 4G or 5G with a nano SIM, and an M.2 Key E slot takes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC (nominal 12 V or 24 V). The SBOX-2624P-IP66 runs from -30 °C to 60 °C with an SSD and 0.6 m/s airflow, weighs 2 kg and carries EN 50155 with EN 50121-3-2 EMC compliance, plus UKCA, CE and FCC Class A. Sintrones also builds the same Ryzen R2312 design unsealed as the SBOX-2624 series, with six COM ports or four PoE ports.
