EAC-7200-T4000 Overview

Not every multi-camera robot needs the largest Thor module. The EAC-7200-T4000 keeps 16 GMSL camera inputs and two 10GbE ports but runs the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000, making it the 16-camera robot computer at the lower module tier of the Vecow EAC-7000 series.

The NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 in the EAC-7200-T4000 combines a 12-core Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU with a 1,536-core Blackwell GPU and 64 fifth-generation Tensor cores, on 64 GB of 256-bit LPDDR5X. That is typically enough for perception and navigation stacks that do not need the full T5000, at a lower module tier. It runs Ubuntu 24.04 with JetPack 7.0 and above, and Vecow supports NVIDIA Isaac Perceptor on Isaac ROS and the Holoscan Sensor Bridge for low-latency sensor pipelines.

Networking on the EAC-7200-T4000 is two 2.5GbE ports and two 10GbE ports, and every Ethernet port can be ordered with X-coded M12 connectors. Four x4 mini-Fakra connectors take 16 GMSL 1/2 automotive cameras. Field I/O covers 16 isolated DIO, two RS-232/422/485 ports and four USB 3.1 ports, with two HDMI outputs up to 8K. M.2 Key B and Key E sockets with two nano SIM slots and eight antenna positions take 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi, and an M.2 Key M PCIe x4 slot holds the NVMe drive.

The chassis runs on 9-50 V DC with 16-mode software ignition control and is rated to MIL-STD-810G operating shock and vibration, with EN 50155 EMC listings. In 77 W mode it runs fanless from -20 °C to 45 °C, or to 70 °C with the fan sink. The T4000 builds have no CAN ports; the EAC-7200F-T5000 adds them with the larger module.

Official Vecow USA Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Vecow USA distributor, configuring the EAC-7000 family for USA multi-camera perception. The EAC-7200-T4000 suits sixteen-camera perception where 64 GB of memory covers the model set. Within the wider Vecow Jetson range, the EAC-6100 series puts a Jetson Orin NX behind GMSL camera inputs for smaller robots.

It sits among our Jetson Thor computers, and its GPU places it with our AI edge computers for perception workloads. The EAC-5000 series runs the Jetson AGX Orin with PCIe expansion for projects that need add-in cards. The EAC-6200 series uses the Jetson Orin NX with PoE+ for machine vision at a lower power budget.
