FCCW10L100-GCH2OD Overview
A screen mounted outdoors has to be readable at midday and keep working through a cold start or a hot afternoon. The W10L100-GCH2OD is Winmate’s 10.1 inch sunlight readable chassis monitor for those sites: a 1000 nit LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch, operating from -10 °C to 60 °C in a plastic bezel with an aluminum back cover.
The 1280 x 800 WXGA panel has an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically. At 1000 nits it keeps status pages and controls legible in daylight, and Winmate offers an optional UV film for solar radiation protection where the screen faces direct sun. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB.
Video comes in on a VGA input, with HDMI or DVI as factory options, and an optional speaker is available. A five-key on-screen display menu handles set-up. For indoor use the W10L100-GCH2 is the 350 nit version of this housing with a front IP65 rating, and the W10L100-EHH2OD is the outdoor panel mount build.
The W10L100-GCH2OD runs on 12 V DC, with 24 V DC as an option, and operates from -10 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. An optional heater extends the lower limit to -25 °C, and storage is rated from -20 °C to 70 °C. The fanless monitor measures 264.6 x 173.3 x 35.7 mm, weighs 1.3 kg, fits a 75 x 75 mm VESA mount or a panel mount, and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
