IMB-600-ONX8-DEV KIT Plus Overview
Surround-view and multi-camera perception work does not always need the largest module in the range; it needs the camera inputs. The Sintrones IMB-600-ONX8-DEV-KIT-PLUS is the Mini-ITX edge AI developer kit in the IMB-600 series that combines the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB system-on-module with four GMSL-2 automotive camera inputs on FAKRA-Z connectors, running JetPack 6.2 on Linux.
The pairing suits four-camera capture pipelines where the inference stage fits within 8GB of module memory, which keeps the development hardware aligned with a leaner deployment target. When a pipeline needs more room, the IMB-600-ONX16-DEV-KIT-PLUS offers the same four camera inputs on the 16GB module. PCIe 4.0 runs through the board, and the M-key 2280 slot takes a Gen4 x4 NVMe SSD, useful once four camera streams are being recorded for annotation. The GMSL-2 stage makes the IMB-600-ONX8-DEV-KIT-PLUS the taller 59.4mm build, still fanless at 0.9kg.
The 8-lane MIPI CSI-2 connector stays available alongside the GMSL-2 inputs, so mixed camera front ends can be evaluated on one board, with HDMI for local monitoring. One 2.5GbE and one GbE port on Intel I226 controllers handle streaming and bench networking, with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. CAN FD, an RS232/422/485 serial port and 4-in/4-out digital I/O connect the kit to vehicle networks, and B-key, E-key and mPCIe sockets accept optional 4G/5G, GPS/GLONASS and WiFi/Bluetooth modules.
Power and environment follow Sintrones deployment practice: 9-60V DC on a terminal block, AT and ATX modes, ignition control, and fanless operation from -25°C to 50°C with CE, FCC and UKCA marks. Projects that do not need the camera stage can start on the base IMB-600-ONX8-DEV-KIT instead.

Official Sintrones USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Sintrones USA distributor, pairing Sintrones developer kits with the production systems they prototype for. Four-camera work on the IMB-600-ONX8-DEV-KIT-PLUS maps onto the IBOX-601-G2 range for in-vehicle GMSL-2 deployment and the IBOX-604-G2 family where weight is the constraint, while the IBOX-600 series suits production builds that drop the GMSL-2 stage.
Looking past the bench, our Jetson edge computers map the deployment options around the Orin NX module, and the vehicle computers we supply suit perception systems that will ship on a moving installation. The full range of edge AI hardware we configure and support gives a fallback when the workload moves beyond Jetson.
