US Stretched Displays
Bar Type LCD Screens for Transport and Shelf-Edge Signage
Stretched displays use an ultra-wide bar-type LCD panel, so a long, narrow screen fits where a standard monitor will not: above a train door, along a shelf edge or across an instrument console. Available from 12.3 inches up to ultra-wide 4K models.
Options include full HD and 4K bar panels, high-brightness and PCAP touch models, and open frame, chassis and front IP65 housings, suited to passenger information, retail shelf-edge signage, gaming and specialist control panels.

What to Specify in an Ultra-Wide Display
An ultra-wide display fills spaces a standard 16:9 screen cannot, such as shelf edges, transport signs and shop windows. Aspect ratio, resolution, brightness and running hours decide whether it suits the space and the content.
Ultra-Wide Aspect Ratio
Ultra-wide bar panels for shelf edges, signs and headers, filling spaces a 16:9 screen cannot use.
Full HD and 4K
Full HD and 4K bar panels keep text and graphics sharp along the whole length of the screen.
Screen Brightness
Standard and high-brightness panels for stations, transport hubs and shop windows facing daylight.
Continuous Operation
Specify panels rated for long running hours in public information positions that stay on all day.
Inputs and Player
Check the video inputs and whether a built-in media player is needed for standalone signage content.
Mounting and Orientation
Check the mounting points and whether the screen runs landscape or portrait in the space you are filling.
