Some projects need two cards side by side in one enclosure, such as a frame grabber next to a fieldbus card, or two capture cards feeding the same inspection software. When the network needs are modest, a two-port build keeps the configuration simple. The NUVO-9002DE is a rugged computer from the Neousys NUVO-9000 series that combines a dual-slot PCIe Cassette with one 2.5GbE and one GbE port.
Compute comes from Intel 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Core processors on the LGA1700 socket, up to 24 cores and 32 threads, and Intel Core Series 2 (Bartlett Lake) CPUs are also supported. The Q670E chipset takes up to 128 GB of DDR5-4800 in two SODIMM slots, with vPro, AMT 16.0 and dTPM 2.0, and VGA, DVI-D and DisplayPort outputs let the NUVO-9002DE drive an operator display alongside its main workload.
Networking is one Intel I226-IT/I225-IT 2.5GbE port and one I219-LM GbE port with screw-lock retention, a simple split between device and plant networks. Expansion is two PCIe x16 slots with Gen3 x8 signals inside the dual-slot Cassette, with two internal SATA ports supporting RAID 0 or 1 and an M.2 Gen4 x4 NVMe socket for the OS. A 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port with screw-lock, six USB 3.2 Type-A ports, four COM ports, mini-PCIe, an M.2 B key socket for 5G or 4G and a MezIO port for extra I/O modules complete the panel.
Power comes in through an 8 to 48V DC pluggable terminal block, which covers 12V and 24V vehicle supplies and 48V cabinet rails. The NUVO-9002DE runs fanless from -25°C to 70°C with 35W CPUs, or to 50°C with a 65W CPU at full TDP, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock. It measures 240 x 225 x 110.5 mm, weighs 3.89 kg and wall-mounts as standard, with DIN-rail mounting optional. For a different expansion mix, compare the NUVO-9002E and NUVO-9002LP.

Nuvo-9002DE MezIO Modules
Add serial, digital I/O, Ethernet, USB, storage or ignition control to the Nuvo-9002DE with a Neousys MezIO module. We fit and test the module inside the system before it ships. Each system takes one MezIO module.

If the NUVO-9002DE is close but not quite right, the NUVO-9531 fits 4x 2.5GbE and the same LGA1700 processors into a smaller footprint. The NUVO-9650AWP seals Intel 14th/13th/12th Gen Core compute into an IP66 enclosure with M12 connectors, and the NUVO-11000 brings Core Ultra 200S compute and PCIe Gen5 NVMe. For vehicle work, the NUVO-9100VTC series adds PoE+ to the same processor generations.
